The Tupelo Film Festival Society will host the 2016 Manhattan Short Film Festival on Thursday, September 29 beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Tupelo Commons Cinema-Malco Theatre. The tickets are $10.00 and will be available at the door.
Filmgoers in Tupelo, Mississippi will unite with over 100,000 film-lovers around the world during the week of Sep 23-Oct 2 when the 19th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival screens at a local theater near you.
This year Manhattan Short received a record breaking 844 short film entries from 52 countries. The 10 Manhattan Short finalists hail from eight countries, with France and Australia represented by two films each. These Final 10 short films represent the best among a record 844 submissions from 52 countries received by Manhattan Short for 2016.
The Final 10 are: The Tunnel (Norway),Carousel (England), Kaputt (Germany), Ella Got A Promotion? (USA) Hold On (The Netherlands), Bravoman (Russia), Overtime (Australia), Gorilla (France) I Am A Pencil (Australia), The Last Journey of the Enigmatic Paul WR (France)

They did last year! Manhattan Short’s 2016 Final 10 will not only entertain a global audience but will be judged by them as well. Cinemagoers will become instant film critics as they are handed a ballot upon entry that allows them to vote for the Best Film and Best Actor.
The winner will be announced at ManhattanShort.com on Monday, October 3, at 10:00 AM (EST).
